THE HALF FACE

I live in a world
Where blessings are for the blessed
Sympathy blurs for my burnt phase
Tear of pain states the truth

I live in a world
Of people craving for beauty
Surprised I, just beg the basic
But abhorrent eyes shut my world

I live in a world
Where success comes from warm sweats
And my blessed part vies for a change
Help steps when one help oneself

I live in a world
Of people thwarting my confident site
But strength comes from comparisons
And it says, “You are stronger than yourself”

TRUST ME

Trust in me, my love
For whoever and whatever I am
Caring you is habit, loving you is my religion
You are the bird for which my heart hunts

Trust in me, my love
For my soft palm would wipe off the past tears
My numbing thought is the reason for your beauty
You seem to like my poor blurry sad situation

Trust in me, my love
For the rays of love of mine
You are the key to my old white hair
Am I the one who walks the aimless destination?

Trust in me, my love
For I would take away all your thirsts
The “love” comes from unrealistic hatred

Waiting to pluck the fruit, for the right time is soon.

BRAVEHEART

Once there lived a young handsome man in Calcutta
England wiped off his first tear drop
Then came he on the land of Rugby
With brave eyes, consoling head and a kind heart

Typical brown boot of his gilded the Dum Dum floor
His heart bled seeing the helpless
Courageous hand got extended to home the homeless
Amazed to see the precious corner of the earth

The neglected threw futures on the promised hand
Admired he the future as the future craver
The sympathy cleaned all the lucky hearts
Started the jeep and went for their dreams

Sacrificed bank and taught lovers to hold pens
Started cornflakes and ended up with rugby
This is how the legacy of Future Hope started
He was the bright path, ‘Be positive’ said Uncle Tim

THE HEARTNER

A colourful bird stirred up my heart
Flew from nowhere and rested at the Rowing
The ordinaries could only see, but I could feel her
She frowned anger that pierced the poor heart

Had voluntary brain but involuntary heart
Thus, could not out pierced the frowned anger
The vision pained the heavy and solitude heart
Sportsmen never give up, so did I

Actors are fake; the hearts of poets real
Being Sanjana a proposal, conveyed herself to you
But the bad stale situation had tarnished it
Choiceless stood I and decided to compose you

Determination and guts came from “Impossible”
As my eyes saw “Impossible” as I’m possible
None can stop the heart loving the bird

Hey dear, Vicky still likes you!

IF THERE WERE NO BOUNDARIES

If there were no boundaries
No daughters would have fought
Sons would have felt the Mother fully
Would there be a smile on Her face?

If there were no boundaries
Populated heavens would have a space
No worries if a house has blunt swords
Would the consequences comfort Her?

If there were no boundaries
Soldiers have been welcomed to their houses
This would lessen the distances of hearts
Would Mother be at peace for this?

If there were no boundaries
All figured birds would have visited undiscovered orchards
Ants would have tasted every flavour of seeds
Would this entire, sooth the Mother?

MY MOTHERLAND

Hey my lovely Motherland
I love you till that extreme
You are more beautiful than anything
Unable to measure and compare your beauty

Hey my lovely Motherland
You are the bravest of all
Departing you is for the fools
You are the place where every coloured bird comes

Hey my lovely Motherland
You are that rich even where once went plunderers
Having everything from desert to mountains
I see you and myself have seen the entire world

Hey my lovely Motherland
Lucky soldiers are fearful to lose you
You are the home to all beggars and poor

Holding every weight has made you the unbeatable

COME UP TO THE NEW WORLD

Come up to the new world
And forgive and forget the painful past
This humbleness will lead one to a great height
Let the lovely cool weather welcome you

Come up to the new world
With new ideas to address yourself
Love, care and feel for the human abused
Take a holy dip to cure one’s wound

Come up to the new world
To extend a hand of hope for the human abused
Lead one to resist the pain and worthless remorse
Clean the dish with soft and humble soap

Come up to the new world
And give an end to the human abuse
Finish off all the enmity among the people
Make the bed, lie down and wait for the new morning.
